硝子体手術と緑内障手術のエキスパート

板谷医師は硝子体手術と緑内障手術を駆使できる術者です。高眼圧を伴う眼底疾患(増殖糖尿病網膜症における血管新生緑内障など)などの複雑な症例にも両方の術式を同時に使い対応できます。長く大学で治療にあたり増殖糖尿病網膜症や増殖硝子体網膜症などの難治症例を得意としています。埼玉県が指定する「難病指定医(眼科)」。
